PARIS, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Air France, France's leading flag carrier on Saturday said its AF66 flight from Paris to Los Angeles changed its route to Canada after "a serious damage of one of its four engines" had been detected.
The A380 landed safely at 1542 GMT at Goose-Bay airport in Canada. All the passengers were being helped by teams dispatched to the location, it said in a statement.
Air France was working to re-route the passengers to Los Angeles via one of its connecting platforms in North America, it added.
