KIEV, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) will launch a regular flight from the Ukrainian capital of Kiev to the city of Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province, local media reported on Thursday.
According to the Center for Transport Strategies, the new route will open in the summer of 2018, serving three flights per week.
The route will be the second direct air link connecting China and Ukraine. In April 2015, UIA launched its first non-stop flight from Kiev to Beijing.
The UIA airline, which flies from its hub Boryspil International Airport in Kiev, currently operates over 1,100 domestic and international flights per week, with non-stop services from Ukraine to 38 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
