FRANKFURT, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 52.21 points, or 0.41 percent, to close at 12,657.41 points.
Deutsche Bank won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.85 percent. Commerzbank and German airlines Lufthansa rose by 2.82 percent and 2.59 percent respectively.
German personal-care company Beiersdorf lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 1.03 percent. Housing association Vonovia and automotive manufacturer BMW went down by 0.83 percent and 0.59 percent respectively.
Manufacturing and electronics company Siemens was the most-traded share with a turnover of 275.12 million euros (323.01 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
