DUBAI, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is striving hard via global cooperation to become "the best and most advanced country in the world," said an e-mailed government statement.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has received cooperation proposals from more than 100 potential international partners for its Centennial 2071 plan, which aims at making the UAE "the best and most advanced country in the world."

Abdul Aziz Al-Jazairi, the area manager of the plan, announced the figure, adding that a first innovative integrated system was also established for the plan, which is ambitious in designing the future of the world and creating the right tools and solutions to meet the greatest human challenges.

The UAE government aims to unify the efforts and initiatives of government innovation entities, including government accelerators, future accelerators in Dubai and the "Youth Center," to address the most pressing humanitarian challenges of the future, being supported by the latest advances in technology.

The UAE Centennial 2071 plan, a long-term government plan to strengthen the country's reputation and soft power, was launched earlier this year by UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, who is also the Ruler of Dubai, one of the seven sheikhdoms of which the UAE consists.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed, will jointly chair the UAE government's annual meeting in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, Sept. 26, and discuss the plan with 400 senior government officials, local media reported.

Oil currently generates 29 percent of the country's gross domestic product, and the UAE government has also pledged "to ship the last barrel of oil abroad by 2050" by transforming the country into a 100 percent non-oil economy.
