The bricks produced by the Shenjia Kiln at Ganyao Township have a good reputation throughout the country thanks to its rigorous making process. The kiln now yields 600,000 bricks of different sizes every year. The firing technique of the Shenjia Kiln was listed as a provincial intangible cultural heritage by Zhejiang Province in 2006.
