BEIJING, Sept. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- In 2017, the Chinese government has rolled out a revitalization plan for traditional craftsmanship amid efforts to protect intangible cultural heritage.

By 2020, China will have seen a "significant enhancement" of the ability to carry on traditional crafts with better industry management and market compatibility, according to the plan issued by the ministries of culture, industry and information technology and finance.

What follows are just a few of China's abundant intangible cultural heritages, concerning traditional crafts, artistic performances, snacks, fine arts and ethnic clothing.
