Cityscape Global Real Estate Exhibition opens in Dubai

DUBAI, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- The 16th session of the Cityscape Global Real Estate Exhibition opened at the Dubai World Trade Center on Monday with the participation of 300 regional and international real estate developers from 23 countries.

Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) opened the three-day Cityscape.

This fair and exhibition includes important real estate development projects, tourism and entertainment projects in addition to the latest trends in the global real estate market.

For the first time in the history of the exhibition, licensed developers of real estate development companies operating in the UAE will be allowed to sell directly from their platforms in the exhibition grounds, in accordance with the rules and regulations of the local land and municipal departments in the emirate where the property is located.

The exhibition will also witness the launch of new projects from several UAE companies including Deyaar, Dubai Investments, Abu Dhabi, Dubai Holding, Dubai Properties, Maras Holding, Nakheel, Falcon, Damac and Nakheel.

For his part, the Crown Prince of Dubai said "The importance of this sector in supporting our national economy, diversifying its sources and revitalizing the real estate market locally, regionally and globally. Dubai is one of the world's leading cities in this field and the preferred destination for international and regional investors."
