Indian markets open higher

MUMBAI, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened higher Monday after a consolidation seen in the previous week.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 31,871.01, 183.49 points or 0.61 percent up compared to its previous close at 31,687.52.
