MADRID, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares gained on Friday, with the benchmark Ibex-35 up 0.05 percent, or 4.7 points, to close at 10,129.60 points.
A total of 12 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the day.
Airline group IAG advanced 1.45 percent, the top gainer, followed by Spain's third largest bank Caixabank and Spain's largest bank Banco Santander that rose 1.41 percent and 1.21 percent respectively.
Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa went down by 3.96 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. Natural gas infrastructure company Enagas lost 1.68 percent and energy and infrastructure company Acciona lost 1.59 percent. Enditem
