TIANJIN, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Xiao Di of Shandong defeated Alimujiang of Xinjiang 7-1 to win the 98kg Greco-Roman wrestling title at the 13th Chinese National Games here on Tuesday.
"I know my rival very well," said the 26-year-old Xiao, "and I will train ever harder to tune up for the Tokyo Olympic Games."
Nie Xiaoming of Heilongjiang won the other men's gold medal of the day from the 130kg division, beating Meng Qiang of Shandong 2-1.
Li Hui of PLA claimed the women's 53kg freestlye title by beating Pang Qianyu of Hunan 5-3, while Ni Jie of Jiangsu won the women's 48kg crown, downing Sun Yanan of Liaoning 14-8.
