TOKYO, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands a fraction above the 110 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, largely in line with its levels seen overnight in New York.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.11-12 yen compared with 109.91-110.01 yen in New York and 110.48-50 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1910-1911 dollars and 131.14-18 yen against 1.1904-1914 dollars and 130.87-97 yen in New York and 1.1891-1893 dollars and 131.37-41 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
