TIANJIN, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- World champion shooter Yang Haoran of Hebei nailed his second gold medal at the 13th National Games here on Thursday with a stylish victory in the men's 50m rifle 3 positions.

Yang scored 460.4 points in the final, 0.4 points ahead of second-placed Hui Zicheng, who represents the PLA team. Sun Jian from Shanghai took the bronze with 449.2 points.

The 21-year-old Yang ranked first in the qualification round with a total score of 1,189 points, surpassing the world record by three points.

"I am glad to win my second gold, especially because I've never won the event before," said Yang.

"The finalists are familiar with each other. I am satisfied with my performance at these Games," he added.
