ISTANBUL, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- Six people were wounded on Thursday when an explosion occurred in Turkey's western city of Izmir during the passage of a prison vehicle, local media reported.
According to Haberturk daily, the blast happened inside a garbage can in the district of Buca. A picture released by the daily showed a shuttle bus belonging to a prison was damaged in the blast.
Other details are not immediately available, Haberturk said, noting ambulances and police teams have been dispatched to the area.
