Thai Supreme Court postpones verdict on former PM Yingluck

BANGKOK, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- The Supreme Court of Thailand on Friday postponed the verdict in former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra's rice pledging case to Sept. 27 as she failed to show up at the court.

Yingluck on Thursday called on her supporters to stay at home to cheer for her tomorrow instead of gathering in front of the Supreme Court.
