Indian market opens flat

MUMBAI, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- The Indian stock market opened flat with positive note Monday.

The market bounced back with moderate gains amid volatility after Friday's sell-off.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 31,532.29, 7.61 points or 0.02 percent up compared with its previous close at 31,524.68.
