MUMBAI, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets closed flat on a positive note Thursday. Selling pressure dominated final minutes of trade.
The fall was led by sectors such as banks, auto, pharmaceuticals and FMCG stocks, while the sectors that ended in the green included was information technology.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 31,795.46, 24.57 points or 0.08 percent up compared to its previous close at 31,770.89.
