MADRID, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Ibex-35 stock exchange saw a slight rise of 0.19 percent as it edged its way back to the 10,500 point mark on Tuesday closing on 10,481 points.
Tuesday is a public holiday in Spain and was one of the sessions with the lowest volume of trading in the year with very little movement in share values, but the relaxed atmosphere allowed the Ibex to build on Monday's positive trading to recover more of the ground lost in three sessions of heavy losses at the end of last week.
IAG (2.42 percent), Ferrovial (0.86 percent) and Iberdrola (0.83 percent) saw the biggest gains on the index, while Siemans Gamesa followed Monday's losses with a further 1.81 fall in share values, while Acernox shares fell 1.30 percent in value and Technicas Reunidas saw a decline of 1.25 percent.
Meanwhile, the risk premium closed on 102.9 points while interest on the 10-year-bond rose slightly to 1.46 percent. Enditem
