LONDON, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.60 percent, or 43.93 points, to close at 7,353.89 points.
TUI, a multinational travel and tourism company, soared 4.79 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Standard Life and Glencore increased by 3.21 percent and 3.07 percent, respectively.
Experian, an information services company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 1.45 percent. G4S, a British multinational security services company, dropped 1.14 percent. Marks & Spencer Group, a major British multinational retailer, fell 1.10 percent. Enditem
