LONDON, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Olympic silver medalist Hellen Onsando Obiri of Kenya won the gold medal of women's 5000m at IAAF World Championships here on Sunday.
Obiri made a decisive sprint in the final 200m to pull away from Ethiopian Almaz Ayana and finish the race with 14 minutes and 34.86 seconds.
Ayana took away the silver with her season best of 14:40.35. The bronze medal went to Sifan Hassan of the Netherlands in 14:42.73. Enditem
