TEHRAN, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- At least 12 people were killed in the floods in the northern provinces of Iran, local media reported Friday.
Two others have been missing because of the heavy rains in Iran's Golestan and Mazandaran provinces since Thursday, Iranian Student news agency reported.
The rains have also caused damage to the infrastructures in the region.
