JAKARTA, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- The Indonesian women's futsal team was upbeat over a target of gold in the 29th SEA Games in Malaysia this month, coach Andre Picessa said here Friday.
Picessa said that the target was set up based on the latest performance of the team in the several tryout matches.
"Despite of a short preparation, we are confident in securing the gold medal," Andre said.
The SEA Games is scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia from Aug. 19 to 31.
Indonesia will firstly face host Malaysia, and then Thailand, Myanmar, and Vietnam, according to the coach.
Indonesia has also sent a men's futsal team to the regional sport event, said Andre.
