Jordan's PM to visit Sudan for boost of ties

KHARTOUM, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- Jordanian Prime Minister Hani Al-Mulki will begin on Thursday an official visit to Sudan for boost of bilateral ties, official SUNA news agency reported Tuesday.

Al-Mulki would hold talks with Sudan's First Vice-President and Prime Minister Bakri Hassan Saleh to review means of enhancing ties between Khartoum and Amman, and to discuss issues of mutual concern, according to the report.

Meetings of the joint ministerial committee between the two sides are also scheduled in Khartoum, to be chaired by the two countries' prime ministers.

The two sides are expected to sign a number of agreements at the ministerial committee meetings, with the aim to enhance bilateral cooperation in different fields, said the report.

The Jordanian PM would be accompanied by a number of government ministers and officials. Enditem
