5.3-magnitude quake hits 14km SE of Bodrum, Turkey -- USGS

BEIJING, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted 14km southeast of Bodrum, Turkey at 07:42:22 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 36.9547 degrees north latitude and 27.5605 degrees east longitude.
