TIRANA, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Majority of Albanians are positive on their country's economy as 55 percent of citizens here think economy will improve in the next 12 months, a survey showed Saturday.
This indicator has improved by 11 percent compared to a year ago.
Regarding the employment in the next 12 months, the survey shows that Albanians are highly optimistic and hopeful.
The survey meanwhile also shows that Albanians are highly optimistic about Albania's European Union (EU) integration.
The data were revealed by Eurobarometer survey, an indicator of European spirit and economic, political situation in EU member and candidate countries.
While commenting on the survey results, economists here said Albanians related the EU integration with their personal benefits and employment.
"This explains the high optimism among Albanians about the country's European integration," they said.
Even in terms of economic crisis effects, Albanians believe things will get better soon.
According to Eurobarometer data, things that might worsen situation here are unemployment, economic situation, social and health safety, living conditions, crime, etc.
Meanwhile, terrorism, government debt, housing, pensions, environment and energy issues are perceived as less problematic by Albanians, survey data revealed.
