Hong Kong stocks close 0.56 pct lower

HONG KONG, July 28 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed down 151.78 points, or 0.56 percent, to 26,979.39 points on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 26,928.44 and 27,047.88. Turnover totaled 78.94 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 10.11 billion U.S. dollars).
