Dollar changes hands in lower 111 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, July 28 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 111 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, marginally lower than levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 111.10-11 yen compared with 111.25-35 yen in New York and 111.20-22 yen at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1689-1689 dollars and 129.86-87 yen against 1.1670-1680 dollars and 129.97-130.07 yen in New York and 1.1722-1724 dollars and 130.35-39 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
