LANZHOU, China, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Orken Ahmet from Turkey's Torku Sekerspor (TRK) won stage 10 in 3 hours 4 minutes and 31 seconds at the Tour of Qinghai Lake on Wednesday.

Buts Vitaliy from Ukraine's Kolss Cycling Team (KLS) and Sajnok Szymon from Slovenia's Attaque Team Gusto (ATG) came second and third respectively.

Stage 10 from Songmingyan to Dingxi coverd a distance of 148km, with one intermediate sprint and one 3rd-category climb.

Ahmet has been performing well since stage 4. "The stage I'm winning owns to my teammates' good job. Everyone has done a good job today, and that's why we got victory," said Ahmet.

Ahmet said every rider is energetic like at the last stage, and everyone is speeding up and booming forward.

"At the start of the race, I'm painful. And then after climb, I'm feeling better, and win the stage," said Ahmet, "so dangerous today, but because of my team's good work, we win."

After stage 10, none of the jerseys changed hands. Yonnatta Monsalve from Qinghai Tianyoude Cycling Team (TYD) keeps the yellow jersey as the top rider of general individual classification.

The blue jersey that represents the best Asian rider is still in the hands of Yevgeniy Gidichi from Kazakhstan's Vino-Astana Motors (VAM). Green jersey and polka dot jersey are still kept by Ahmet and Ortega Ramire from Chinese Taipei's RTS respectively.

Ahmet has been keeping the green jersey for 6 stages since stage 4. "We have the chance to keep it for more stages," said Ahmet.

Stage 11 from Tianshui to Pingliang will be held on July 27.
