The average daily ecological water supplement from the sewage treatment plant to Kulustay grassland is about 6,000 cubic meters. Tacheng has returned about 14,080 hectares of farmland and closed 349 electric-mechanical wells since a project to protect the ecological environment of Kulustay grassland launched in 2015. The Kulustay grassland, covering an area of 259,333 hectares, is located in the central area of Ta'e basin. (Xinhua/Hu Huhu)
