Photo taken on July 20, 2017 shows a closed electric-mechanical well near Kulustay grassland in Tacheng, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Tacheng has returned about 14,080 hectares of farmland and closed 349 electric-mechanical wells since a project to protect the ecological environment of Kulustay grassland launched in 2015.
