MADRID, July 19 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark Ibex-35 up 0.60 percent, or 64.1 points, to close at 10,588.10 points.
A total of 29 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the day.
Steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal advanced 2.57 percent, the top gainer, followed by Spain's airport operator AENA and building and infrastructure company ACS that rose 2.29 percent and 2 percent respectively.
Supermarket chain DIA went down 1.96 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. Spain's fifth-largest bank Bankia lost 0.95 percent and Spain's largest bank Banco Santander lost 0.51 percent. Enditem
