ANKARA, July 19 (Xinhua) -- A major cabinet reshuffle in Turkey is expected to be announced after a meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Binali Yildirim on Wednesday.

The meeting began at 12:00 p.m. local time in the Presidential Complex.

According to Hurriyet Daily, a cabinet reshuffle has been on the agenda since Erdogan had regained his seat as chairman of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) after the April 16 referendum, with three or five ministers expected to be reshuffled.

Yildirim will hold a press conference on Wednesday afternoon regarding the changes in the cabinet.
