BEIJING, July 18 (Xinhua) -- China's top political advisor Yu Zhengsheng Tuesday called for the building of better government-business relations to boost the country's private economy.

Yu, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, made the remarks while presiding over a symposium on private economy in Beijing.

The symposium was attended by committee members, economic scholars, as well as representatives from enterprises and local authorities.

All participants agreed that the anti-graft campaign is conducive to regulating market order and that government officials should form "cordial and clean" fellowship with entrepreneurs.

They also suggested offering more favorable policies, for example, simplified administrative procedures and lower taxes and fees for private enterprises.
