BEIJING, July 16 (Xinhua) -- The newly promoted Tianjin Quanjian FC beat Shanghai Greenland 3-0 on Sunday in the 17th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL), receiving four straight wins.
Zhao Xuri opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a header, after Zhang Cheng launched a passing from the right side.
Only nine minutes later, Zhao Xuri expanded the lead to 2-0.
Brazilian Alexrandre Pato secured the victory for Tianjin Quanjin FC at the 51st minute.
"I am very happy to help the team win at home," said Zhao Xuri, "We watched the videos of the rival's recent matches, and our coach, Fabio Cannavaro, told us how to defend the key players."
Tianjin Quanjian FC ranked third in the league after this round, and Shanghai Greenland placed 10th.
In another match played on Sunday, Changchun Yatai edged Guangzhou R&F 3-2.
