Dollar changes hands in lower 113 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, July 13 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 113 yen range zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, after dropping to the upper 112 yen zone in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 113.32-33 yen compared with 113.11-21 yen in New York and 113.44-46 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1418-1419 dollars and 129.40-41 yen against 1.1407-1417 dollars and 129.10-20 yen in New York and 1.1448-1449 dollars and 129.87-91 yen in late Wednesday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
