KAMPALA, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Uganda's national rugby team will on Friday face off with Tunisia in the 2017 Africa Gold Cup match.

Robert Seguya, assistant Coach told Xinhua on Monday that they want to make sure they pick a comfortable win against the North Africans.

"We started with a draw in Kenya and picked a vital win in Senegal," Seguya said.

He said the team will have to improve a lot with the forwards because they must make sure they score several tries.

"The tournament has become tricky because it is also a World Cup qualifier and it could be decided by tries scored," he added.

Uganda started the competition with a 33-33 draw away to Kenya before beating Senegal 17-16 in Dakar.

Namibia who humbled Senegal 95-0 last weekend currently lead the table with 10 points, while Kenya who defeated Tunisia 100-10 are second with seven points.

Tunisia's coach Hedi Mohamedali whose team arrived in Uganda on Monday told Xinhua that they are here for serious business.

"After losing two games, we have to be at our best against Uganda," Mohamedali said.

Tunisia have a good record against Uganda winning the two previous encounters in 2009 and 2012.
