BRASILIA, July 9 (Xinhua) -- The Brazilian central bank announced a monthly net outflow of 4.3 billion U.S dollars in June, reversing the situation of net inflow during the past three months.

The net outflow in the first half of 2017 reached 7.47 billion U.S. dollars, compared with a net inflow of 10.04 billion U.S. dollars in the same period last year.

With increased greenback outflow, the Brazilian real (BRL) depreciated against the U.S dollar last month.

The latest data came out amid political instability in Brazil. General Prosecutor Rodrigo Janot charged President Michel Temer last week in a graft scheme involving the world's largest meatpacker, JBS SA.
