Host Tianjin snatches two bridge game golds at China's National Games

TIANJIN, China, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Host Tianjin earned two bridge game titles of China's National Games here on Saturday in the events of the open group and the youth group.

The host beat Guangdong 136-49 Imps in the final round, while the world champion title owner Zhao Jie got his first gold in the National Games.

"The title is different from other international games medals, because I got it in my hometown. We just built our team three months ago, and it was very difficult for us to became the winner," Zhao said.

Hebei won the bronze medal after defeating Fujian 61-23.67 Imps.

In the youth group, the host kept unbeaten record, edging Beijing 94-61 Imps to take the first place, whlie Shandong got the third place.

Shanghai became the winner in the women group, followed by Beijing and Gansu.
