Athletes from over 20 countries to attend FIRS World Cup in Harbin

BEIJING, July 5 (Xinhua) -- More than 400 roller-skating athletes from over 20 countries will attend the World Cup slated for July 15 in Harbin, China, according to the local organizers on Wednesday.

The World Cup, under the auspices of the International Roller-skating Federation (FIRS), features events of 42km, 18km, 12km and 3-6km races, with the participation of athletes from over 20 countries including France, Germany, South Korea, Singapore and the hosts.

Under its agenda of the year, the FIRS has several races, with the first on May 14th in Incheon, South Korea. The others include Rennes, Dijion, Ostrava and Harbin, with the last in Berlin on Sept. 23.
