FARAH, Afghanistan, July 4 (Xinhua) -- A total of four civilians were killed and another injured after a car ran over a mine planted by Taliban militants on a road in the western Farah province Monday night, police spokesman in the province Mohammad Iqbal Baher said Tuesday.
"A mine planted by Taliban rebels on a road in Pashtrod district struck a car Monday night killing four innocent civilians, including two women and injured another," Baher told Xinhua.
Taliban militants who are largely relying on suicide and roadside bombings are yet to make comments.
