MADRID, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares rose on Monday, with the benchmark Ibex-35 up 0.62 percent, or 65.8 points, to close at 10,696.60 points.
A total of 27 of the selected 35 large companies gained in the day.
Spain's energy company Iberdrola advanced 1.92 percent, the top gainer, followed by airline group IAG and Spain's fourth largest bank Banco Sabadell that rose 1.51 percent and 1.46 percent respectively.
Stainless steel manufacturer group Acerinox went down 1.54 percent, the top loser of the blue chips. Chemical and pharmaceutical company Grifols lost 0.67 percent and energy and infrastructure company Acciona lost 0.62 percent. Enditem
