KUNMING, June 20 (Xinhua) -- A narcotics control cooperation office was opened in the border county of Jiangcheng in southwest China's Yunnan Province Tuesday.

China has kept good cooperation with Laos and Vietnam on narcotics control, according to Wei Xiaojun, deputy director of Narcotics Control Bureau of Ministry of Public Security.

The office was founded to strengthen cooperation between China, Laos and Vietnam on combating illegal cross-border drug crime.

Since 2002, a total of 10 such cooperation offices have been established by China, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam, covering the most serious drug-plagued regions along the borders.
