Suspicious package in downtown Berlin proved as false alarm

BERLIN, June 15 (Xinhua) -- A suspicious package found in downtown Berlin Thursday has proven to be a false alarm, local media reported.

Only some clothing and personal articles of daily use were found in the package after the police investigation.

The package was found at noon. Normal traffic resumed after the all clear, according to the reports.
