BEIJING, June 15 (Xinhua) -- Foreign direct investment (FDI) into the Chinese mainland dropped 3.7 percent year on year in May to 54.67 billion yuan (about 8.05 billion U.S. dollars), data from the commerce ministry showed Thursday.
In the first five months, FDI inflow was 0.7 percent lower than the same period in 2016, said the Ministry of Commerce.
