MOSCOW, June 13 (Xinhua) -- One more victim of a bus crash on Sunday night in Russia's Trans-Baikal Region has died in the hospital, bringing the death toll from the serious traffic accident to 14, the press service of the regional Health Ministry said Tuesday.
Another 40 people were injured in the accident according to the latest updates, and doctors have assessed the condition of those injured as serious and critical, Russia's Interfax news agency quoted the ministry as saying.
The bus with 51 passengers on board overturned after veering off the road and fell from a big height on a highway connecting the cities of Irkutsk and Chita, according to the document.
The local branch of Russia's Investigative Committee has launched a probe into the incident.
