WASHINGTON, June 9 (Xinhua) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors 137-116 on Friday night in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, which are at 3-1 in favor of Warriors after four games, just like last year.
Kyrie Irving scored 28 of his 40 points in the first half and Lebron James finished with 31 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. Kevin Love had 23 points and J.R. Smith added 15 points. Kevin Durant scored 35 points but Stephen Curry only scored 14 points on 4-of-13 shooting and Klay Thompson added 13.
James recorded his ninth Finals triple double, passing Magic Johnson for No. 1 on the all-time list, and passed Michael Jordan for No. 3 on the all-time Finals scoring list.
The Cavs set an NBA record for points in a quarter (49 in the first) and shot 53.3 percent on three pointers. Cleveland made a Finals-record 24 three-pointers.
No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the NBA playoffs. Game 5 is on Monday back to the home of the Warriors.
