Ferry services between Germany, Denmark suspended over threat

BERLIN, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Ferry services between Germany and Denmark were suspended on Wednesday over a threat, according to ferry operator Scandlines.

Scandlines disembarked all passengers from its ferries in the Danish town of Roedby and suspended ferry traffic between Denmark and Germany following instructions from the police, German local media Lubecker Nachrichten reported.

Danish police said it had received a telephone threat, but did not disclose additional details.
