PARIS, June 7 (Xinhua) -- French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday confirmed a third French national was killed in London Bridge attack on Saturday.
"We have, this morning, the confirmation of a new toll. There are three deaths and eight wounded on the French side," Macron said.
"It is a heavy toll that we pay in these attacks," he added.
Three militants killed at least seven people and injured many others when they rammed with their van into pedestrians on London Bridge and Borough Market area where they stabbed people.
The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack in which the three assailants were shot dead by police.
