Indonesia condemns London attacks

JAKARTA, June 5 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia on Monday condemned the latest attacks in London that killed 6 and injured tens of others, reaffirmed its support and solidarity with British government in combating terrorism and terror acts.

In a statement released by the foreign affairs ministry , Indonesia called on its nationals staying in London and other areas in Britain to remain vigilant and avoid public spaces considered prone to terror attacks.

"Indonesian government also conveyed deepest condolence for families of the fallen and pray for quick recovery for those injured in the attacks," the statement said. No Indonesian nationals were affected in the attack, it added.

The attack on London Bridge on Saturday night was the third terror act in Britain within the last three months, following the ones near parliament building and a suicidal bombing in Manchester.
