FRANKFURT, May 30 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 30.27 points, or 0.24 percent, to close at 12,598.68 points.
Deutsche Bank lost the most among the blue chips, down by 1.93 percent, followed by multinational chemical firm Linde and German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom, which lost 1.37 percent and 1.11 percent respectively.
German multinational building materials company HeidelbergCement, German airlines Lufthansa and Deutsche Boerse Group, the marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and securities,were the top three winners, rising 1.32 percent, 1.23 percent and 1.08 percent respectively.
Deutsche Bank was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 202.86 million euros (226.65 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
