TOKYO, May 30 (Xinhua) -- Eight people, including six children, were injured Tuesday as a kindergarten shuttle bus rammed into the greenbelt of a sidewalk in a city in western Japan, local media reported.
The shuttle bus, belonging to a local kindergarten, crashed into plants by a sidewalk in the city of Yao, Osaka prefecture, around 8 a.m. local time, said the reports.
Six kindergarten kids, a nursery teacher, as well as the driver of the bus who is in his 60s, sustained minor injuries and were sent to hospital, said local fire department.
Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
